For these dishes, pair a fruitier, crisp, fresh, and aromatic wine. You will always need to make sure that the different spices match accordingly for each pairing. Wines to begin your pairing search with are going to be Rieslings, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.

Citrus Based Dishes

As you may have assumed, citrus based wines are great to pair with citrus based dishes. Wines to consider pairing with these dishes would be Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blanc. Light crisp wines are a great pairing for dishes with these citrus flavors.

Coriander & Chilies

Riesling; always the best pairing for dishes with coriander and chillies. It is a crisp, smooth wine that will compliment and match the flavors of these dishes and make the overall dining experience a great one.

Stir Fries

Bring out the strong wines when you’re pairing with a stir fry! Because of their heavier sauce and abundance of flavors, a wine with a full body is required! The right Chardonnays are the best to pair with stir fries as their fullness compliments the flavors and thickness of the stir fry sauces.


Red wines haven’t been brought up a ton, yet. Merlot and Pinot Noir are fantastic pairings for foods that have stronger flavors. Red wines are often more bold in flavor, so it makes sense that they would pair best with dishes that can hold
